Evan Gordon-Wollin, DO

I grew up in Long Beach, CA. I went to college at UC Berkeley where I graduated in Biology and Political Science. I always loved science, but my interest in medicine solidified when I began working with others in various public health programs and as a caregiver. I realized that I wanted to combine my passion for science with the very rewarding relationships that are built when taking care of others. I then matriculated to Western University of Health Sciences where I completed my medical degree in the top quartile of my class. During my time at Western I realized very early on that Internal Medicine was the perfect fit for me as it spanned many areas of medicine, focused on problem solving, and emphasized the inter-personal and collaborative side of healthcare. I went on to complete my residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. I eventually decided to pursue a career in Hospitalist medicine because I thoroughly enjoyed the acuity and complexity of working in the inpatient side of medicine.

What attracted me to PMG was the collegial atmosphere, the supportive structure, and the personal and professional growth opportunities. I am also from the Los Angeles area so I wanted to move back closer to home. I hope that my passion to always find ways to improve, my interest in quality improvement, and on collaborating and building a collegial atmosphere, can help PMG continue to grow. I hope that I can help PMG continue to be a model for providing excellent high-quality healthcare to its patient population.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love to travel, cook, workout at the gym, and find time to meditate.
