Linda Vuu, MD
Linda Vuu, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine provider with Platinum Medical Group. With a specialized focus in hospital medicine, Dr. Vuu is dedicated to providing world-class care through collaboration and communication with patients and colleagues alike.
Dr. Vuu received her Bachelor of Sciences (B.S.) in biology from California State University, Fullerton and then her Master of Sciences (M.S.) in food science from Chapman University in Orange, California. She then went on to attend medical school at St. Georges University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City.
One of platinum medical groups most forward thinking hospitalists, Dr. Vuu is always engaged in comprehensive quality improvement projects. Some examples include initiatives to reduce blood culture contamination rates, reduce unnecessary blood cultures and reducing inappropriate use of antimicrobials. Dr. Vuu is also a frequent lecturer topics, such as patient-provider communication.
A trusted figure within hospital walls, Dr. Vuu serves as chief medical resident at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center’s internal medicine department. There, she displays leadership, maintaining busy schedules for residents and organizing educational activities. Patients and providers both look to her as a guiding light in the complex world of internal medicine.
When she’s not working with patients, Dr. Vuu assumes the role of global thrill seeker. She enjoys traveling the world in search of adventures, such as hiking, snowboarding and scuba diving.
